I had extreme stress from work, causing lack of concentration and lack of sleep at night. I broke out in the night sweats due to stress, to the point where my bedding became soaked. Prior to acupuncture treatments, I was on antibiotics for bronchitis and pneumonia causing me to visit the doctor far too often. I also had a cough with phlegm and quite a bit of sinus mucus. My initial CT scan showed severe sinus issues. Surgery was suggested by one doctor and if not surgery then a few years of allergy treatments would be essential. This is the first spring that I’ve been quite clear of these difficulties and attribute much of that to acupuncture and the herbal supplements. I had shingles for almost 3 years, always in extreme pain and could not function properly. The Pain was mostly in wide area of my back and I was prescribed medicine as well as pain management, neither helped. I experienced adverse side effects from the medications and began to feel worse. I began Acupuncture treatments in March of 2014 and after only 4 treatments, I began to notice that I could sleep better without the throbbing pain that was keeping me awake at night. To all who are as skeptical of acupuncture as I was, let me assure you that if you are in pain, suffering from arthritis or stress, or just want to lose weight, acupuncture is the way to go! I have been a patient of Dr. He at H & Z Acupuncture for almost two years, and my pain levels from a back injury as well as age-related arthritis have decreased radically.
