Urinary incontinence is the inability to control the release of urine from the bladder. It can happen to anyone, but is most common in senior people. Most bladder control problems happen when the muscles that keep the bladder closed are weak. According to the Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, the urinary incontinence is generally caused by the “Qi deficiency”.

Hello,
My mother is 83 and she gets up between 4 and 6 times a night to go to the bathroom. Most times she can’t get to the bathroom fast enough.
Can acupuncture help at that age? We heard from another acupuncturist that she might not respond well to acupuncture at her age.
Thank you!
