I had shingles for almost 3 years, always in extreme pain and could not function properly. The Pain was mostly in wide area of my back and I was prescribed medicine as well as pain management, neither helped. I experienced adverse side effects from the medications and began to feel worse. I began Acupuncture treatments in March of 2014 and after only 4 treatments, I began to notice that I could sleep better without the throbbing pain that was keeping me awake at night.
